A Guide to Running a Beauty Training School - Book Launch

Health & Wellness

Zephina Charlery - has helped many women transform their lives! Join this amazing female boss as she launches her New Beauty Book!

A Guide to Running a Beauty Training School - A helpful step by step guide in navigating your way through the challenges of setting up and operating a training school.

I felt compelled to write this book as a way to help others to chart their way through the many obstacles of setting up a training school.

Having many knock backs and disappointments, I soon realised that there was nothing out there to guide me through the necessary requirements for example; gaining the relevant qualifications and understanding of the various awarding bodies as well being able to sustain your businesses through sourcing funding in order to support a start up training school within the Hair & Beauty industry.

We are super excited for the unveiling of this life-saving book! Join us for an afternoon or evening of Prosecco, delicious cuisine and an opportunity to network with other driven people at our summer garden soiree.

We are also raising awareness of prostate cancer.

About the Author

Zephina’s passion for beauty has always been part of her life development as her mother is a hairdresser and lecturer. This may have been partially due to Zephina growing up within the hair & beauty industry; during her early teens Zephina started her first Saturday job working with her mother as a junior.

Zephina then went onto working within social services and very early in her life became a foster carer. Zephina also expanded her beauty knowledge and went back to college where she studied beauty therapy and nail technician and refreshed on her previous beauty experience.

Zephina approached the University with her business model and with some challenges managed to convince them to allow her to set up her nail business model on campus. Zephina quickly grew out of her space as her clientele and business ideas grew.

The challenges were finding funding and all the other extensions needed for students to have recognised and approved qualifications. This experience has definitely been a transformational experience and has allowed Zephina to also grow spiritually, which has helped her and her business exponentially.

The beauty and hair industry is a multi-billion sector and men normally generate the people behind the business. However, times are changing and women are becoming more entrepreneurial and taking back the industry where they spend most of their money.
