Ada. National College for Digital Skills
Registration
Following our on from our Speed Mentoring Event we invite you to join our Ada Lovelace Day evening reception, to celebrate women in STEM.
Ada, the National College for Digital Skills, is a centre of excellence for teaching advanced digital skills to develop a future-skilled workforce from diverse backgrounds.
Ada Lovelace Day is an international celebration day of the achievements of women in STEM. It aims to increase the profile of women in STEM and, in doing so, create new role models who will encourage more girls into STEM careers and support women already working in STEM.
To celebrate, Ada is hosting an evening reception to highlight the amazing work our students have been collaborating on. We will be welcoming a talk by Digital Leader of the Year, Seyi Akiwowo, as well as Young Digital Leader of the Year, our very own Andrea Rodrigues.
The evening reception session will form part of a programme of events to celebrate Ada Lovelace Week including a Speed Mentoring Event and a Wikipedia Editathon on the 9th October in partnership with Wikipedia Women In Red and The Zebra Partnership.
