The Koppel Project is pleased to announce the opening of "Big Snake Zigzagging in Me" - a group exhibition opening on Friday 2nd July, which will feature the work of Dan Ribeiro, Kyara Orlando and Katerina Barampouti.
Showcasing a photographic narrative, installations, a live solo performance, workshops and talks, the Big Snake Zigzagging in Me exhibition evokes reconnection with nature and honours its mysteries, suggesting a creative relationship with life and its cycles. Inspired by the Amazonian myth of the Great Cobra and their personal journey of self-investigation, the artists reflect upon the sacredness of existence and how us humans relate to the environment, to ourselves and to each other.
A live performance will take place at the Private View (7-7:45PM), followed with a Talk/Q&A with photographer and shaman Dan Ribeiro (on Zoom at 8:15PM).
We encourage attendees to arrive on time as the performance will start 7PM sharp
The exhibition opens to the public from the 5th July 2021, with live performances every Thursday at 6.30PM. To book your free ticket email us at [email protected]
