As Blockchain technology gains adoption in the public, startups and corporate sectors there is an increasing need for data science in order to understand the complex dynamics of crypto networks and decentralised applications.

Our Meetup group aims at bringing together blockchain experts, data scientists and software developers to understand and address the challenges this industry is facing.

This event sets the launch of a monthly Meetup we are organising together with some of the first contributors to blockchain technology development. We would be glad to have you at our launch event.

Philip Gradwell is Chief Economist at Chainalysis, the blockchain analysis company. He leads economic research at Chainalysis, putting him at the forefront of understanding how blockchains are actually used. His analysis includes identifying economic fundamentals from on-chain data, how cryptocurrency moves on-chain between exchanges and across borders, and the nature of crypto crime, amongst other topics. Prior to joining Chainalysis, Philip led a team of economic consultants working globally on energy system analysis and climate change economics.

Sergio Susko is Director of Business Development and Partnerships at DappRadar, the dapps discovery marketplace. His understanding of the dapps landscape is in large part enabled by data-driven insights. Prior to joining DappRadar, Sergio was Head Of Operations at BlockEx, the blockchain digital asset exchange, brokerage, and technology provider for institutional-grade financial market participants based in London.
