A holistic approach to tackling climate change - panel, Q&A and drinks reception hosted by Palgrave Macmillan as part of Academic Book Week

Palgrave Macmillan and Springer Nature are proud to celebrate Academic Book Week (9-13 March), the theme of which this year is ‘Academic Books and the Environment’. We’re hosting a panel event, Q&A and drinks reception at our London campus on the evening of Thursday 12th March as part of the week’s celebrations. Doors open at 5:30 for a 6 pm start and the event is free to attend.

The diverse range of interdisciplinary research we publish highlights the necessity of a holistic approach to help us tackle some of the world’s most pressing issues. Through Palgrave Macmillan’s unique lens encompassing the humanities, social sciences, and business, this event will look at the broader social aspects of environment and sustainability and explore the perhaps lesser-known pathways that will ensure a better life for future generations.

The panel will feature several Palgrave Macmillan authors whose research relates to climate change and environmental impact - across policy, business, psychology, energy, and beyond. The event will last one hour plus a Q&A, followed by a drinks reception.
