An inspiring event held by Women's Engineering Society; including a lecture taken by Dr Anne Stevens followed by our annual awards ceremony

We are honoured to have Dr Anne Stevens, PhD BSc, taking the lecture; one of the most prestigious and highest-ranking female engineers in the world. Dr Anne Stevens is an Independent Non-Executive Director at Anglo-American and has a wealth of experience in engineering and product development and wide-ranging commercial acumen in sales and marketing from a number of global industries, including GKN and Ford. She was also elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 2002 - this is guaranteed to be inspirational lecture!

The event will also celebrate the 2019 winners of the Karen Burt Memorial Award for the best female newly chartered engineer, Men as Allies award and the Amy Johnson Inspiration Award.

Registration will be open from 5:15pm, with the lecture commencing at 6pm.

Following the lecture, we will be hosting a networking reception in the IMechE Marble Gallery until 8:30pm.

Please join us for this wonderful evening, celebrating the amazing men and women working to support women in engineering and STEM.
