In the run up to COP26 this November, Petit Pli and Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership(CISL) will host a reunion for its 2020-21 Accelerator alumni and a panel discussion. Panelists will share their views on the role of innovation in improving environmental and social sustainability in the fashion industry.
Moderator: Viola Jardon, Programme Manager of CISL.
SPEAKER #1: Dina Khalifa, CISL research fellow sponsored by Chanel, currently doing research on social inclusion. She was previously a lecturer at the British School of Fashion.
SPEAKER#2: Leanne Elliott-Young, Co-founder of the Institute of Digital Fashion - they believe in using technology to create a democratic and sustainable future in fashion.
SPEAKER #3: Ryan Mario Yasin , Founder and CEO Petit Pli - a material science company on a mission to clothe the future of humanity.
SPEAKER #4: Dulma Clark, Head of Vivobarefoot Live Barefoot Fund - an in house philanthropic and impact investment hub centralising all social and environmental projects and driving research and innovation at Vivobarefoot, a family footwear (Clark's shoes) company with a mission to reconnect people and nature by creating regenerative footwear and experiences.
SPEAKER #5: Iolo Lewis Edwards, Director of High Fashion Talk - a digital space that brings people with shared interest express their views on high fashion.
