Join IPSE and Battersea Arts Centre for a panel discussion on freelancing for creatives.

Freelancing for students – Panel discussion: Freelancing in the creative industries. Join our panel of inspiring creatives to find out about their top tips and tricks, learn from their career journey to help lead your own fulfilling independent career in our ever-changing innovation-driven age.

IPSE, the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed and Battersea Arts Centre would like to invite anyone considering a freelance career in the creative sector to our event – all completely free of charge.

This event is part of the Freelancing for Students event series designed to give students and recent graduates from across the UK top tips and advice on how to successfully launch a career as a freelancer. For this event, being hosted at Battersea Arts Centre, our panel of speakers will share their journey, challenges and successes. There will be an opportunity for attendees to ask questions and then network afterwards.

18:30 - Arrival

18:40 - Welcome from IPSE and Battersea Arts Centre

18:45 – Introduction to Freelancing and Networking Top Tips, Rebecca Willey, Head of Education and Training, IPSE

19:00 – Panel discussion and Q&A with freelancers from the creative industries including:

-Bree Kotomah, Fashion Designer, Owner of Boresa Kotomah and Winner of IPSE’s Young Freelancer Award 2019

-Sean Muntaner, Industrial Graphic Designer and founder of Palma Bay Creative,

-Tina Touli, Interdisciplinary & Multimedia Designer
