We are excited to invite you to the Decoding Ceramics Network Launch, Thursday 15 June, 17:00 - 20:00 at Central Saint Martins. This event is a celebration of the Decoding Ceramics Project which will be launched at the end of August.

Decoding Ceramics is a 3 year European Union funded project, bringing together 5 institutions; UAL London, NOVA Lisbon, UMPRUM Prague, KHiO Oslo and KHB Berlin with the intention to map ceramic knowledge across Europe, assess the salience of practice to place, build a visual and oral record of specialist processes and techniques, develop methods to effectively share this knowledge across the teaching and expert network to ensure heritage crafts skill are relevant to future practice.

The evening will consist of a presentation introducing you to the project, including new techniques for unlocking tacit knowledge through augmented video demonstrations and followed by a panel discussion involving key project partners before ending the evening with Networking Drinks.

This event will be taking place during the annual Central Saint Martins Degree Show which is open to the public from 12:00 - 20:00. If you would like to see the show beforehand we advise you arrive an hour before to give yourself enough time to see the space.

Project CRAFT - Activating Pedagogy for Ceramic Education Futures is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union under Grant Agreement N.: 2020-1-UK01-KA203-079249.
