What is a design sprint and why are so many big businesses like Google, eBay and Nest adopting them as the go-to way to bring digital products to life? Kyan's Harry Ford & Will Poole will take you through this exciting new process and explain the benefits and success that sprints can bring to product teams.
THE KYAN PRINCES OF DESIGN SPRINTS
Harry & Will form part of our Product Strategy team at Kyan. They've been instrumental in bringing design sprints into our workflow, and introducing many of our clients, new and old, to this revolutionary way of building digital products.

Harry is an experienced design leader with over ten years in the field. Energetic and ambitious, he enjoys working with clients like Allianz, Zurich and Wella, getting them excited about product design.
WILL POOLE - UX PRODUCER, KYAN
Will is a 'defender of the user experience', ensuring that everything we do at Kyan is done so with a user-centred mindset. With a strong history in interface design, Will knows all too well what makes an effective user journey.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We'll kick off the workshop with a few drinks and a chance to unwind. Then we'll dive straight in to the what, why and how of design sprints. We'll work our way through a 'mock' sprint around a fictional digital product. Why not hang around after the workshop? We'll have some canapΓ©s, plus a chance to chat to the Kyan team and other workshop members. Stay for as long or as little as you like!
DISCOVER WHY DESIGN SPRINTS WORK
Design Sprints are focussed on the user and their experience of your product or service. Weβll help you to understand the stages of the process and the sorts of outputs they generate.
LEARN USEFUL, PRACTICAL TECHNIQUES
We'll give you practical examples of a selection of the exercises that make up a Design Sprint and how you could run them. Youβll be able to take these ideas and implement them internally.
A CHANCE TO TALK TO THE EXPERTS
After the workshop, there will be time for some food, drink, and to pick the brains of the team. If you have any questions or are simply interested to learn more, we fully encourage you to stay!
