Disruption, Change & Innovation: Sustainable Business Futures

Business & Professional

In a Panel setting, experienced and recognised experts discuss "Disruption, Change & Innovation: Sustainable Business Futures.

Hosted by RSM UK. Sponsored by Foresightfully Ltd

In a panel discussion setting, experienced and recognised business and sustainability experts discuss "Disruption, Change & Innovation: Sustainable Business Futures. Is your business ready?" and navigate their way around innovation, technology, sustainability, future trends, disruption & crisis, and why businesses need a future-proof game plan for survival.

Against the backdrop of escalating climate change, inequality, social inequity, rising cost of living, food, water and energy shortages, disruptive change requires leadership with the spirit of building and revising strategy when needed; to be curious, agile, innovative, and focused on people & sustainable process as much as product and profit. And yet, it is generally agreed that 80% of the major change initiatives in companies fail, and that 50% of the reason why they fail has to do with people’s inability to embrace change or their negative attitudes toward adapting to change

The coming together of global events since 2020 are unprecedented, as is the scale and speed of coming change. We are living in a disruptive innovative marketplace where if companies hope to survive, they will need to change just about everything that they do. They can no longer rely on their current business models of product portfolios, traditional customers, or product uses. Every business sector needs to be adaptive and predictive to rapid change and disruption in a sustainable, innovative, enterprising, and equitable way.

A society-wide innovation system needs to serve a collective, social purpose β€” promoting all-round sustainability rather than generating private returns and externalising social and environmental costs. Leaders, teams, and organizations that don't skilfully navigate change and disruption with sustainable innovation will undoubtedly fail.

Registration will be from 5pm to 5.25pm with the panel discussion starting at 5.30pm until 7pm, followed by drinks and networking until 8pm
