Artists Pietro Bardini and Tice Cin perform a one-off piece in their exhibition The Heart of the Whirlpool.
Join us in the evening of the 6th of March for an exciting new performance by artists Pietro Bardini and Tice Cin in the exhibition space of their installation 'The Heart of the Whirlpool'. The artists have created an immersive work in the centre of the Borough Road Gallery space based on Wyndham Lewis’ idea that on the threshold of Vorticism:
You think at once of a whirlpool. At the heart of the whirlpool is a great silent place where all the energy is concentrated.
The performance will utilise original sound elements and poetry with projections interaction with sculpture from their new ‘Vorticist Manifesto’. The work will touch on themes of mechanisation, energy and AI. This is a unique opportunity to intimately experience the exhibition come to life through the artist’s own display.
