Head and Neck Cancer Supporters Evening

We are delighted to once again be able to host our popular head and neck cancer supporters evening, kindly supported by our Vice-President Tony Matharu and Blue Orchid Hotels at his flagship hotel, Blue Orchid Tower Suites set in the heart of the City by The Tower of London. There is no charge to register for the event and the evening includes a drinks reception and buffet.

During the evening you'll hear from patients, head and neck cancer consultants, healthcare professionals and researchers who will share their experiences and how we can work together to drive awareness for earlier diagnosis. World leading consultants will also present the latest research discoveries for head and neck cancer. You'll get a chance to meet teams of researchers who will discuss their projects and how they are working to making a difference for head and neck cancer patients. The evening will also give you an opportunity to meet members of the head and neck cancer community and share experiences.

Head and neck cancer is now the sixth most common type of cancer and the fourth most common cancer type in men. Alarmingly head and neck cancer is now affecting much younger people who are often diagnosed late resulting in invasive and debilitating treatments. Access to treatments varies and Oracle Cancer Trust is working to address these treatment inequalities in the UK.
