The first in a series of ‘unplugged’ health-tech talks, real life stories, Q&As and networking in a fun and interactive format to help entrepreneurs, future founders and anyone looking to learn about the health-tech sector.
At our First event, we’re going to hear from Dr. James Somauroo, Founding Partner at HS. Ventures, which builds, scales and invests in the best health-tech start-ups and those companies have gone on to impact millions of patients globally. He covers health-tech for Forbes as a contributor and hosts the HS. Health-Tech Podcast, which is listened to in over 70 countries.
James is an anaesthetics and ICU doctor by training, has held roles in leadership, management and innovation at NHS England, Health Education England and the British Medical Journal and previously directed an accelerator that provided startups with market access to the NHS, saving £48M for the UK health service.
