Imagine an NFT

Uncategorized

Back in March, we marked International Women’s Day by launching the ‘IMAGINE’ campaign, to highlight unconscious gender bias.

It quickly took off in wonderful ways we hadn’t even…. imagined.

4.5 million impressions later – and after a whole lotta love shown by brands, influencers, NGOs and even governmental bodies – we’ve decided to auction the art posters, that will later be minted as NFTs for the lucky buyers, at The Mondrian, Shoreditch on June 17th.

Why? Well, it’s a fun thing to do. But also, thanks to the wonders of Web3, we can now create a forever fundraising campaign for our three associated charities, as the blockchain art is exchanged down the months and years.

Please join us on June 17th for the auction itself, and an expert panel discussion about gender diversity in art, the world of NFT creativity and the potential Web3 offers to create long-lasting social impact. We’ll also be sharing (re)imagined artwork, created by artists from around the world, through a global call out running over the weeks leading up to the event, that will be minted into NFT’s after the event.

Exclusive! All attendees will be gifted an NFT - a POAP* (unique proof of attendance protocol).

Event details:

  • 5pm drinks reception
  • 5:30pm panel discussion
  • 6:30pm auction led by leading auction house
  • 7pm drinks & canapes

Starting bids will be at £200 but we will be accepting donations in any amount via credit card.

All proceeds from the auction will go to three charities, Beyond Equality, The Ukrainian Women’s Fund and the Young Women’s Trust. Guests who win the auction for their preferred poster will walk away with the physical art, and also receive a one-of-one NFT, minted on the Polygon blockchain, enabling them to then sell it on the secondary market should they choose to.

*a POAP is a curated ecosystem for the preservation of memories. By checking-in at different events, POAP collectors build a digital scrapbook where each POAP is an anchor to a place and space in time.
