KHP CPMU Evening Research Symposium

The Clinical Practice and Medicines Use Research Symposium will take place on Thursday 24th February 2022.

IN PERSON

Time: 6pm to 7.30pm

Location: Room 1.70, Franklin Wilkins Building, (Waterloo campus, King’s College London).

Open to KHP organisations (KCL/SLaM/GSTT(RBHT)/KCH). Chaired by Head of Pharmaceutical Sciences CAG Professor David Taylor.

A drinks reception will follow at 7.30pm

The principal aim of this symposium will be to demonstrate the breadth and intensity of research activity that takes place across Pharmacy in King's Health Partners (Trusts and across King's College London). It will also be an opportunity to meet those who can support you in developing your own research ideas.

Sara Sawieres, Specialist Pharmacist, Liver Intensive Care and Private Patients at King’s College Hospital

SiΓ’n Bentley, Consultant Pharmacist Paediatric CSLD at Royal Brompton Hospital

Dr Mandy Wan, Pharmacist King’s College London

Prof David Taylor, Director of Pharmacy and Pathology at South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust

In line with KCL Guidance please note that all attendees must adhere to the following:

- Bring a proof of a negative COVID-19 test done no more than 48 hours before the event

- If you are feeling unwell with symptoms do not attend the event

- All attendees must adhere to all college requirements and recommendations including one-way systems

- Attendees are encouraged to use face covering whilst moving around the building. Face coverings are not required when food and drink is being consumed.
