Despite the fact that โdiversity and inclusionโ have been industry buzzwords for some time now, workplaces still have a long way to go until every member of staff feels welcome, included and heard. Join us for this relaxed and informal event, as we dig deeper into this topic with our expert panel, including:
Aduke Onowafokan, founder of the Sister Sister Network
Joanne Lockwood, founder and CEO of SEE Change Happen
Matt Cooke, Brand & People Lead at Gravity Road
The panel will also be joined by Rich Miles, the founder and CEO of the Diversity Standards Collective, for the Q&A.
Drinks and pizza will be served from 6pm with the panel discussion beginning at 6.30pm. Please note, there will be vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options available. Drinks will include beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks and sugar-free drinks. Please do get in touch with us at [email protected] if you have any specific dietary requirements, and we will do our best to sort something out for you!
Please get in touch if you have any thoughts or questions - we canโt wait to have you!
A bit about Know Different
Know Different is the diversity and inclusion network here at Brainlabs. We aim to create a safe space to branch into topics that could be considered messy, uncomfortable and/or sensitive; topics that might especially affect those from minority groups. Our aim is to create a safe space where we can come together to discuss these topics, with insight and opinions from a panel who know a lot more about this stuff than we do!
Testimonials from our PPC Chat x Know Different event
Suki Thompson: Founder, Letโs Reset: It was a huge pleasure to be part of Know Different. By sharing our minor setbacks we can show that major comebacks are possible. The Brainlabs culture and environment of open honest conversation coupled with fantastic pizza made it a fabulous and inclusive evening. Great for all of our wellbeing!
