Launch of new research on the psychological impact of debt collection

Join us and our Founder, Martin Lewis, for this research launch event on mental health and debt collection practices

We are launching new research exploring how rising costs are affecting the nation’s mental health, and how aggressive debt collection practices are compounding these issues for many people.

The research also looks at how government, regulators and firms can reduce the immediate harm caused by aggressive collection practices.

The event will be led by our Founder and Chair Martin Lewis CBE, and will bring together experts by experience, policymakers, regulators and experts from the debt advice and mental health sectors to discuss the research findings— with more speakers to be announced soon.

This report launch is part of a programme of work supported by abrdn Financial Fairness Trust.
