Speakers:
Charlie Dixon - Partner, Deal Advisory, KPMG
Laura Shearer - Partner, Integration and Separation, KPMG
Axe Ali - Managing Director, KPMG
Charlie Dixon, a partner in KPMG’s deal advisory practice will open the event with an overview of recent Merger & Acquisition activity within the insurance sector. He will then explore how to measure the success of a deal and also touch upon why deals often fail.
Laura Shearer, a partner in KPMG’s Integration and Separation team will then explain how you create value post deal. She will share some stories that describe how you bring two separate firms together, ensuring that systems, IT, culture and people are managed to create the desired value.
Lastly, Axe Ali, a KPMG Director, will focus on how Technology impacts deals. They will show us how emerging technology is being used to better predict the success of deals, and how it is used in practice to increase the success of Mergers & Acquisitions.
