March TPF TALKS with Zula Rabikowska

Hobbies & Special Interest

TPF TALKS: A space for the next gen of photographers to learn, collaborate & ask questions.

The Photography Foundation was created to provide pathways to professional photography for less advantaged young adults in London by offering education, practical experience, and routes to a career in the creative industries.

TPF TALKS is a platform that amplifies under-represented voices to encourage the next generation of photographers and creatives to be part of the conversation, build their networks, and create space for themselves in the industry.

Each month, we will amplify the voice of a different under-represented group and have:

  • Photographers talking about their work and sharing their journey into photography, focusing on representation
  • Networking with other photographers and creatives
  • An opportunity to speak to current and past trainees about our Training Programme, and register your interest if you’re considering applying
  • A chance to look around our studio and space
  • Drinks and table-tennis, because why not!

In celebration of International Women's Day, we are delighted to have Zula Rabikowska speaking at this event.

Zula is a Polish-British photographer & videographer based between London and KrakΓ³w. Her work explores themes of displacement, belonging and gender identity.

In 2020, Zula won the AOP Emerging Talent Award and the PDN Edu and is also a recipient of the MEAD Fellowship Grant, which enabled her to document contemporary gender identity in Eastern Europe - she will be sharing this work for the first time & discussing this project during this event.

In May 2020, Zula co-founded the Red Zenith Collective, a platform for womxn and non-binary creatives from Central and Eastern Europe.

This event is aimed at 18-25 year old's living in London from an underrepresented background.
