Mayflower 400 talk by Dr. Rita Cruise-O'Brien
Community & Culture
A talk on the story of the Mayflower by historian Dr. Rita Cruise-O'Brien to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the Mayflower's historic journey from Rotherhithe to the New World. This is the launch event of The Southwark Civic Society and supported by The Southwark Mayflower 400 Fund.
- Light refreshments will be provided.
- The event is free to enter, however registration via Eventbrite is required.
- Children below 16 years of age are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult.
- The Hall has a seated capacity of 100 people.
- The event has been arranged by the new Southwark Civic Society which has been formed to promote civic responsibility, civic pride, community engagement and volunteering in the London Borough of Southwark.
