Dear all,

Looking forward to seeing you on Tuesday 19th October from 6:30pm til 8:30pm (ish) at the Curzon Soho downstairs:

99 Shaftesbury Ave, London W1D 5DY

Meanwhile, only 1 day left to enter (discount code below) your short films in TweetFest: deadline10th October - see below:

TweetFest Film Festival is back for its 7th year, and after the year that was 2020, we can't wait to meet our filmmakers and audience in person again. Every year, TweetFest welcomes 50 plus shorts which screen over the course of three days, culminating in a gala screening at the Picturehouse where a selection is showcased, the winners are announced, and trophies and prizes are shared. It's always a wonderful mix of intense, eclectic, and exciting shorts from around the globe, all judged by a professional industry panel.

This is your last chance to enter TweetFest for 2021 and have your short film in the competition. All entries are viewed by multiple industry professionals and the In Competition shorts are seen by a very impressive VIP jury, including casting directors, award-winning directors, producers, and sales distribution people. It's an exciting opportunity.

Plus TweetFest are giving our members (you) a 30% discount to enter using the code: Smash2021

SMASH - showcase

We hosted our first showcase last week (virtually) and will be doing some more virtual events so to if you are interested please connect on our social media channels to be kept in the loop. Thank you to all of those who joined - it was lovely (made it less daunting!) to see so many familiar faces!

Our new website here. We are always looking for feedback so please do continue to share suggestions. We are building the other side of the platform ie the decision-makers, so anyone looking for new, fresh and diverse ideas will be able to find them on SMASH. If you are or know, a decision-maker please contact me at [email protected]. We would like to talk to you and welcome your help to test the platform.

Meanwhile, all content creators can build and share their pitches via our SMASH Pitch Protector. And remember our unique partnership with Getty Images gives you Easy Access to their library of high-resolution watermark-free images to help you create beautiful mood boards or pilots (great for documentaries, TV and even corporate pitches!). Once you have a Getty SMASH email you can download stills and clips directly from their website (until our next features are built) but remember it's only available for pitches.

For all feature filmmakers ready to get sales projections, do come and talk to us about your feature film Sales Estimates or submit directly from the platform, respected Industry veteran Hilary Davies will be creating them for you.

Feel free to follow SMASH on social media:Twitter, Facebook, Linkedin and insta

And tell your friends!
