Museum of Youth Culture: Carnaby Lates w/ John Ingledew

Performing & Visual Arts

Discover Soho's legendary music heritage with a talk by photographer John Ingledew as part of the Museum of Youth Culture Lates.

Join the Museum of Youth Culture for the first of three Museum Lates taking place in September celebrating the Grown up in Britain book.

For our first Museum Late, photographer John Ingledew will be joining us for a talk about his work documenting Soho's youth tribes. John has photographed Soho since the late 1970’s beginning as a student at St Martin’s School of Art on Charing Cross Road and continuing from his studio in Archer Street. His pictures of Soho were recently shown at the legendary FRENCH HOUSE pub on Dean Street in an exhibition SOHO STREETS OF LIGHT, which is also the title of his short film - a black and white love letter to London’s greatest neighbourhood - made in the 1990se.

Alongside John's talk, you'll be able to scan photographs to be included in the upcoming Grown up in Britain Book and get involved with a live scrapbooking session alongside music and free drinks.

Book your free ticket for entry.
