NxG Leaders - How can we shape a positive culture?

Business & Professional

Connect with your peers and explore how you, as a NxG Leader, can play an active role in evolving both your family and business culture.

The Institute for Family Business invites you to join us at our Next Generation community event 'NxG Leaders - How can we shape a positive culture?' to connect with your peers and explore how you, as a NxG Leader, can play an active role in evolving both your family and business cultures without sacrificing what makes them unique.

Family businesses are known for their strong, distinctive cultures - cultures which are shaped by core values that have often transcended generations of owners; put people and communities first; and garner loyalty from family and non-family alike.

Now more than ever, a strong culture is a significant advantage and can be seen as a great differentiator. As family businesses grow or respond to current external forces of change they must harness their unique values and invest in understanding and managing their culture.

During this event we will explore how Next Gen leaders can foster a culture that represents the legacy of their family business and reflects progressive values; the potential challenges faced when building a positive culture and ways in which you can support both your family and your teams to 'live and breathe' your ideal culture.

The event will begin with a brief fireside chat with Maria Villax (3rd Gen, Hovione Pharmaceuticals) and Matthew Ayres (4 Gen, The Bennie Group) who will will set the scene for an open discussion with all participants by sharing their own experiences. The chat will be followed by a drinks reception where you will be able to connect with others from the NxG community.

Dress Code: Business casual

This event is open to Next Generation delegates (Age 18-40) from UK registered family businesses only. We reserve the right to cancel all non-qualifying bookings.

Entry will be for Ticket Holders only
