In this session Neil will explore the Employer Brand by looking at

  • Can we control and shape the Employer Brand?
  • How do go about constructing an Employee Value Proposition - depending on logistics, space and numbers, this to involve some audience participation
  • How to communicate your Employer Brand
  • How to measure your Employer Brand
  • Why working on your Employer Brand and Employee Value Proposition is never finished

Neil Harrison has worked in the field of employer branding for more than 20 years, initially with some of the top agencies within that field and lately with his own business. He has partnered organisations as diverse as Unilever, Santander, Sainsburys, Telefonica, the University of Sheffield and Tesco Bank. He has delivered employer branding projects across the UK, Europe, the Far East and the US. He is a regular blogger on the subject and has spoken at numerous industry events from London to Kiev. Neil Harrison is a graduate of the University of Liverpool with a degree in French and Germany.

The People Leaders Network

The People Leaders network has been set up by Middlesex University Business School, with the support of North London CIPD, to help the various interested communities in North London come together to learn and share. This year CIPD sponsored events are scheduled for the last Thursday in most months with other PLN events taking place throughout the year.The network will look to get people to think, feel and act and engage with one another whilst discussing issues and opportunities. The events are open to North London People professionals, CIPD people, Middlesex Alumni and current Masters student, and others interested in the topic.
