Multiple interpretations of the Barbican come to life as six artists explore the meaning of an iconic place. It is a place of history β where lives are played out and culture converges. It is a place of experimentation and new ideas. A place which has encouraged the artists to unleash their creativity.
Kiln formed glass and ceramics, photography and printing, text and textiles collide to provide us with multiple interpretations of the Barbican and what it means to us.
Materials and form, sensations and emotions are all part of the explorations.
