This event is designed for everyone in and around London who is interested in building and growing great businesses through platform strategy and platform design.Β 

As most of us know, 70% of value created by tech companies in the past 30 years has come through businesses with Network Effects: and that is based on market cap data. Network effects are basically the ultimate Growth Hack!

On the other hand launching or managing a platform business is extremely difficult and it can have dangerous side effects.

How do we improve our success ratio for launching new platforms in the London tech ecosystem?

These and more are the theme we can discuss together. In our first session there will be two presentations, lasting about 20 minutes each. One from myself, introducing the group and sharing my experience with the Platform Design Toolkit, the second from Yolanda Martin, Director of Ecosystem Products at Farfetch – she will talk about how platform thinking happens at the fashion tech giant.
