Part of the British Academy Summer Showcase Researcher Late, bringing together social sciences and humanities researchers
The British Academy’s annual two-day Summer Showcase, a free festival of ideas for curious minds, returns in June to our home in 10-11 Carlton House Terrace following a challenging couple of years.
Alongside a programme of pop-up talks, workshops and performances, 12 of our researchers will bring their latest social sciences and humanities research to life with interactive exhibits.
As part of our Researcher Late (Friday 17 June, 6-9pm) we are thrilled to invite our community of researchers for a special drinks reception in our pop-up Garden Marquee, 6 – 6:45pm.
We have created this unique opportunity to bring together in-person – in many cases, for the first time – researchers, British Academy staff and Fellows; to meet, network and to enjoy the Summer Showcase in a relaxed and vibrant setting. After the reception you will be free to enjoy our exhibits and talks, and a paid bar will be available until 8:30pm.
