The Corner Shop: The Climate Anxiety Workshop

Health & Wellness

Join us for an evening of exploration and creativity at the Climate Anxiety Painting Workshop.

Join us for an evening of exploration and creativity at the Climate Anxiety Painting Workshop, followed by an engaging panel talk and an exciting launch party. This event aims to raise awareness about climate change and provide a space for self-expression and discussion.

This workshop is designed to encourage playful exploration of the potential benefits of creativity and craft in gaining a deeper understanding of emotions and attitudes surrounding climate change. With mental health problems on the rise, exploring abstract expressionism as a mechanism for catharsis is crucial. We'll examine art as a call to action, creating pieces that may appear oddly beautiful on the surface, but serve as objects to help us reflect on and question our impact on the planet. Our focus will be on self-exploration, particularly concerning environmental concerns and the emotions that arise from them. By engaging in creative expression, we hope to help individuals gain a greater understanding of their emotions and attitudes surrounding the changing climate.

Climate Anxiety Painting Workshop: 5:00- 6:00 pm

Participants will have the opportunity to channel their climate anxiety into artwork. The workshop will offer guidance and support, helping attendees create their own anxiety therapy pieces. If participants wish, they can also choose to have their artwork digitally printed afterward.

Abigail, founder of FOTU will be joined by XXX to discuss XXX.

About Angel Central

Last year CBRE Investment Management celebrated Angel Central’s 20th anniversary as a destination, heralding in several events, signings, and openings to commemorate the milestone and in recognition of everyone involved in making Angel Central what it is today.

The completion of the destination’s £16 million refurbishment, including the addition of a new link bridge spanning the width of the scheme, and the raising of Angel Central’s iconic ‘wings’, was a critical part of this evolution. The revitalisation included the addition of al-fresco dining and 20,000 sq ft of new retail and leisure space.

Lone Design Club is cutting through the noise of a saturated fast‐fashion market and shaking up the conventional shopping experience by challenging traditional retail offerings both in the UK and internationally. Presenting a new immersive shopping experience LDC is blurring the lines between consumers online and in‐store purchasing experiences.
