The r/London Commute Social Gathering - 24/02/23

Hello everyone, 

I am very excited to announce that our first r/London  'Commute' Social Gathering of 2023 happening Friday 24th Feb @ 6pm and everyone is invited to join us at the Whisky bar on the top floor of The Porterhouse (all types of drinks are served here).

This is a bimonthly meetup for all Londoners no matter how long you've lived here. It's completely free to attend and it's a safe space to just be yourself, relax and meet people from all walks of life. I will be on hand to say hello, and make you feel welcome.

FAQs

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No not at all, it's just to show numbers for the bar staff to ensure enough space is allocated.

What is this event about?

The meetup is based on the 'What are your daily observations?' daily diary entries featured on reddit.com/r/london. Previously known as 'What are your commute observations?', the meetup started nearly 7 years ago with the aim of bringing people from all over London together and just talk about pretty much whatever you want.

Can anyone come to the meetup?

Absolutely, it's a great chance to meet lots of people from all walks of life. Everyone is super lovely to get on with and I'll be on hand to chat with too. 

Are there a lot of regulars that attend?

There are folks that have been to the previous Commute Socials but also we get a lot of new people that come too and I'll be there to chat and make everyone feel at home.
