UK's leading marketers gather to stamp out Ageism in Advertising for good!

There are 52 million adults in Great Britain. 47% are in their 50s and above. Between them they control assets of over £6 trillion and hold a 69.7% of UK wealth.

But over 50s feature in just 12% of UK adverts. They’re an audience often overlooked and misrepresented. Which makes no commercial sense.

MullenLowe are on a mission to tackle this prejudice. We’re hosting a private view of a photographic exhibition by The Blind Photographer, Ian Treherne. Commissioned especially for this event, Ian has captured exactly what it looks like to be someone over 50 in the UK right now.
