To innovate or not to innovate?

Science & Technology

The most successful innovators don’t rely on just one approach - join us as we discuss the what, how and why of successful innovation.

The most successful innovators don’t rely on just one approach - join CreateFuture & NatWest’s Glyn Baker, Head of Partnerships and Engagement, as we discuss the what, how and why of successful innovation.

Innovation is a journey, not a destination - but what does that journey look like and should we even be undertaking it?

Every organisation wants to place innovation at the heart of their strategy, but the reality can look a little different. Various obstacles can halt efforts in the early stages, such as struggling to align with business objectives and goals, not demonstrating the link to increased revenue, short-termism and difficulty building the initial feasible business case to gain support and investment.

At this event we will be looking at the question of whether to innovate, how, and addressing other important issues:

  • Where should you focus your resources and investment - and what is the North Star of any innovation effort?
  • Where the pitfalls lie and how to avoid them
  • How to onboard an innovation culture into your current organisation, and how to get the buy-in from your detractors
  • Just where does the innovation β€˜sweet spot’ lie?

Join us and our expert panel to discuss the above topics and demonstrate how by diversifying the approach, you can create a sustainable innovation ecosystem and drive your organisation forwards.
