YFood Tech Wednesdays with Edamam

Food & Drink

Join us for our first YFood Tech Wednesdays of 2023, where Food Tech founders and friends - gather, share and drink!

We’ll be joined by Victor Penev, Founder and CEO of Edamam, who we are super excited to welcome to YFood events. He’ll be sharing his story of how you can use data to improve health, as well as his personal learnings around nutrition-lead approach to health, and being a pioneer in this space.

Come ready to ask ALL the questions - it’s raw, uncut, collaborative, informative, and fun!

Edamam organises and structures food and nutrition data using proprietary technology and sells it as a service to businesses in the food, health, and wellness industries. It’s built the largest database of food and nutrition in the world, with over 5 million recipes and 1 million foods analysed and grouped under numerous tags. The company's clients include Nestle, Amazon, Food Network, Microsoft, New York Times, Virta Health and many more.

Victor is a serial entrepreneur who co-founded and sold Bulgaria's largest Internet company. He has run digital media businesses for BMG, Bookspan and Playboy and is currently also a mentor and investor in food technology startups, advising early-stage entrepreneurs.

YFood Tech Wednesdays is a unique event designed to bring like-minded people within the Food Tech ecosystem together in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Created to facilitate learning from founders who have gone further ahead, as well as to support discussion, community building, inspiration, and support for startups and those interested in setting up and in this case also partnering with a Food Tech business.

If you believe food is the ultimate medicine, or if you're a founder or futurpreneur of a Food Tech or Food & Drink business looking to innovate, then this is a YFood Tech Wednesdays you won't want to miss!
