Through the art of street photography Keleenna invites you to explore how everyday people navigate life in the Nigerian city of Port Harcourt. The exhibition aims to question, appreciate, and remind of the beauty and complexity of life in the an African city. A glimpse of Port Harcourt serves as a platform for the diaspora to reconnect to continent, whilst also inviting both africans and non-africans to strengthen their appreciation for the stories of everyday people who reside in PH.
The exhibition will zoom in on 4 subject matters: Labour, Transportation, the Love of Football and The power of Religion in Port Harcourt. Keleenna's objective is to use the unfiltered means of street photography to resurface untampered stories of everyday life in Africa. He believes this is important especially during a time where pop culture has focused its screens on African culture.
He hopes this will be the beginning of a long term project to visually showcase the navigation of life in every African city, and cannot wait to share his work with you all.
