You are invited to a special viewing of The Art Of Negotiation: John Lavery's Anglo Irish Treaty Portraits at the Embassy of Ireland.
A special viewing of The Art Of Negotiation: John Lavery's Anglo Irish Treaty Portraits will take place at the Embassy of Ireland on October 19th. Refreshments will follow.
The Art Of Negotiation: John Lavery's Anglo Irish Treaty Portraits an exhibition of paintings by the renowned portrait artist Sir John Lavery, on loan to the Embassy from Dublin's Hugh Lane Gallery, National Gallery of Ireland and- courtesy of President Higgins- Áras an Uachtaráin.
The 14 portraits include some major Irish and British political figures who were involved in the negotiations, including Michael Collins, Winston Churchill, Arthur Griffith, David Lloyd George, as well as other important figures from the time such as Eamon De Valera and Lady Lavery.
