Adapting the Circular Economy to the UK’s Domestic Retrofit

Uncategorized

To produce all of this stuff we need to pull resources out of nature.[1] The Circular economy is a movement from sustainability to resilience where it aims to reverse impacts into opportunity to design all products with ‘disassembly in mind.” We are now seeing a rise in alternatives to our supply chain. China is beginning to make bamboo composite to replace concrete, steel and plastic in its infrastructure projects. Likewise, the UK has seen a rise in experimentation of building materials.

This event will be a collaborative event with the Circular Economy Club and colleagues in Real Estate as we discuss how to bring the circular economy into the Retrofit industry.

Join us to participate in the discussion.
