'Animal' - Ann J Ho-Thomsen + Emma Eden, AMP Gallery

โ€˜Animalโ€™ is an exhibition of recent paintings involving animals by Ann J Ho-Thomsen and Emma Eden. Some are wild, others endangered; some are domestic.

Ann J. Ho-Thomsen is a Taiwanese artist and writer based in London. Her work 'Ducks' has recently been selected for the RA summer exhibition. She has published several poetry and art collections in addition to picture books. Ann won the Taiwanese National Outstanding Young Poet award in 2013, attracting the attention of the Taiwanese literary world at a young age. She holds a MA degree from the University of Edinburgh.

Diversity is important to Ann in all its forms. Moving around the globe while growing up, she knows the feeling and importance of being 'different' and celebrating different cultures and identities. The exhibition features her 2020-2021 paintings, 'The Animal Collection', which show her love and concern for animals and biodiversity.
