AUX event London with AMPOLLO, Pirate Dalston

Join us for an extra special Wednesday evening as our June AUX London event is in collaboration with AMPOLLO, an app for music artists that utilises AI technology and enables users to separate tracks into stems, practice, play, record, and share their music. The AMPOLLO team and music industry pros, Rebekah Pennington, Mark Alexiou and Jolly Mason will be our special guest judges and also host a Q&A and an introduction to using AI in your creative journey..

Location: Pirate Dalston

Every first Wednesday of the month at Pirate Dalston, Pirate hosts AUX, our monthly music sharing and networking event. Recording artists and producers are invited to play their original music in front of an audience full of other artists, producers and music industry professionals.

One AUX participant has the chance to take home £250 worth of Pirate studio credit.

Each event features a special guest music industry host who will take part in a 45 mins Q&A.

• Arrive and sign up to play in 1 of 5 rounds (25 available spaces)
• A winner is selected from each round
• The top 5 battle it out with 30 secs of music
• The special guest host chooses the winner £250 worth of Pirate studio credit.

About the AMPOLLO team:

Rebekah Pennington - Member of the band EKKAH with over 15million streams on Spotify and previously signed artist to Sony & Universal. Touring all over the world, playing at Glastonbury multiple times and working in studios from LA to Stockholm and more. Rebekah has pivoted her career into business and tech, with a Disruptive Strategy Course from Harvard, Rebekah is a futurist determined to pave the way with new technologies in the creative industries.

Mark Alexiou - hosted the Baftas, MOBO Awards and booked various international artists including Beyonce, Lionel Richie, Robbie Williams and more. Deeply rooted in music video production having worked with Massive Attack, Pulp, The Gorillaz etc - winning awards for their music videos. Mark has spent many years as a mentor, networking and connecting record labels, managers, booking agents and artists from the top to the bottom.

Jolly Mason - a multiple-instrumentalist professional, who is deeply intertwined to marry the gap between music hardware and software. A self-confessed audiophile, with a passion for music tech especially conquering the concept of AI and music capability to assist the production and creativity. Jolly has over 15 years' experience in a pleather of music technology apps working as a CTO.
