Blockchain in Fashion Forum Launch

Science & Technology

The inaugural event of the London College of Fashion (LCF), Blockchain in Fashion Forum (BiFF).

In this first BiFF event, leaders in Blockchain from academic and professional practice will showcase their activities and be part of a panel discussion exploring the implications of blockchain technology on the fashion and wider creative industry and education.

Blockchain Technology brings transparency, governance and new frameworks of trust in the handling of data, and the exchange and value. In this forum we will explore the possibilities of this new technological development, and look beyond the hype to address what new capabilities these technologies might offer.

This will include new ways of fundraising and the nurturing of artistic endeavour and investment in talent, supply chain provenance and sustainable practice development, decentralised governance and the promotion of philanthropic activity and new technological paradigms for professional practice and exchange.
