Book launch 'The Dynamics of Regional Migration Governance' by Andrew Geddes, Marcia Vera Espinoza, Leila Hadj Abdou & Leiza Brumat, eds

We are pleased to invite you to the launch of the book 'The Dynamics of Regional Migration Governance' in London. The event will be held at Queen Mary University of London, Graduate Centre, room 222 (map).

The book will be introduced by the editors Professor Andrew Geddes (EUI), Dr Marcia Vera Espinoza (QMUL) and Dr Leila Hadj Abdou (EUI) and discussed by Professor Brad Blitz (UCL).

*The presentation will be followed by a wine reception.

The book analyses the dynamics of regional migration governance and accounts for why, how and with what effects states cooperate with each other in diverse forms of regional grouping on aspects of international migration, displacement and mobility. The book develops a framework for analysis of comparative regional migration governance to support a distinct and truly global approach accounting for developments in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Central Asia, Europe, the Middle East, North America and South America and the many and varying forms that regional arrangements can take in these regions

The event is supported by the School of Geography Research group Economy, Development and Social Justice and the QMUL Centre for the Study of Migration.

*Access guide to the Graduate Centre can be found here.
