Building Futures featuring the Kickstart Awards

Showcasing the best of our young people, Jobcentres and employers, highlighting opportunities to build on DWP success.

We are holding an event to showcase the success of the Kickstart Scheme and galvanising support and momentum with employers. Our aim is to encourage more employers to work closely with DWP, helping fill the many vacancies in the labour market and build on the success of Way to Work.

Awards will be presented to exceptional and inspiring young people and employers who have participated in the Kickstart Scheme, celebrating the difference the programme has made to them.

The networking reception for employers will give employers the chance to find out more about the opportunities to work with DWP locally and nationally to meet their recruitment needs and the support we can provide.

The event starts at 17:00 however we ask that guests arrive no later than 16:30.

Dress Code: Smart/Business Wear

Light refreshments will be served.

How to get there

The event will take place at Lancaster House, Stable Yard, St James’s, London SW1A 1BB.

Nearest tube station is Green Park for the Victoria, Piccadilly and Jubilee lines (5 minute walk) or St James’s Park for the District and Circle lines (10 minute walk). A map to the venue has been provided.

Security Notice

You will be asked to show your Eventbrite ticket or your Invitation Card and photographic I.D. (e.g. passport or driver’s licence) on arrival at the Police Barriers at Lancaster House. Entry may be refused if you fail to show one or more of these items.
