The Café Gallery and its gardens are close to the pond and a short walk from Bede Centre. During the evening you will be able to visit our existing Bede Centre and see how construction of the New Bede Centre is making progress beside it. You will also be able to visit Bede’s allotment in the park and learn how planting and growing vegetables enables our members who have a learning disability to be active in the community.
Food and drink will be served, and you will have the opportunity to visit the Gallery’s latest exhibition, Milquetoast, by “notorious” Welsh artist Bedwyr Williams.
The evening’s programme will begin at 6pm and finish at 8pm. Numbers are limited to ensure everyone is comfortably spaced during the evening, so entry is by free ticket only using the 'Registration' button above.
Bede’s fundraising appeal aims to raise £1.2m to buy the lease on the New Bede Centre, equip the building and meet the costs of the move in 2023. So far, we’ve raised over £800,000 in donations and pledges and we welcome further support to achieve our goal. Donations of £1,000 or more (excluding Gift Aid) will be publicly acknowledged in a specially commissioned art work that will be displayed in the New Bede Centre.
We look forward to seeing you on July 30!
