CIBSE BSG: Part L, Volume 2: ‘Buildings other than dwelling' (Hybrid)

Science & Technology

The CIBSE BSG welcomes you to join us for an evening focusing on the updates of the Part L, Volume 2: ‘Buildings other than dwelling'

The CIBSE Building Simulation Group welcomes you to join us on the 29th of September for an evening focusing on the updates of the Part L, Volume 2: ‘Buildings other than dwelling’ and what these mean for our industry.

In the shift towards a Future Buildings Standard, the government has introduced a range of changes to the Building Regulations, including Part L, Volume 2: ‘Buildings other than dwelling’. This is into effect on 15th June 2022 and will introduce an uplift in standards with the aim of achieving a 27% reduction in carbon emissions over the Part L2A 2013 regulations. This event will present the major updates to the regulations in comparison to Part L 2013, showcase a few case studies comparing the performance between Part L 2013 and 2021, and discuss what might be still missing and the potential changes that might come in the future.

The in-person event will be taking place at Mott MacDonald London offices, with drinks and networking beginning at 17:30. The main event will then be beginning at 18:00, and will be streamed online via Teams. We will be joined by our guest speakers;
