City Series: Brexit, Law and Business with Hogan Lovells

London’s financial prowess is something to behold. It hosts 37% of the world’s currency dealing and 18% of cross-border lending. It is a hub for derivatives, asset management, insurance and investment banks - major clients of City Law firms along with large corporations.

However, the Brexit vote held on the 23rd of June 2016 has given the world’s biggest international financial centre its toughest test.

On 11th December, the eve of the historic general election, the Law and Business Society and Hogan Lovells would like to invite you to an engaging discussion where Lawyers from Hogan Lovell’s ‘Brexit Taskforce’ will be sharing how they are advising clients on issues relating to Brexit.

The event will take place at the Arts Two Lecture Theatre and will start promptly after 18:30 with a short introduction about the firm. After the hour-long presentation, there will be an opportunity for you to network with other attendees and the presenters over some drinks and canapés.
