Consulting Careers – Risks, Insurance, and Business in Developing Countries

Uncategorized

This event will bring together consultants working for different London-based specialised and generalist consultancy firms. Our speakers have extensive experience in consulting internationally active companies on issues such as risk, insurance, and offshoring strategies. These are key issues in particular for firms doing business in emerging markets.

The panellists will share their experience in the industry, giving you an insider’s perspective of what sort of their jobs involve, what different types of consultancy firms have to offer, what skills are required, and what you can do to increase your chances of finding work in the industry.

The event is relevant for anyone who is envisaging a career in consultancy – in particular (but not only) if you are interested in the question of political risk and emerging markets.

You will get a chance to network informally with the speakers over drinks and nibbles before and after the panel discussion.

Speakers:

Mehvish Ali (Analyst at Curzon Consulting)

Oksana Antonenko (Director, Global Risk Analysis at ControlRisks)

Camille Zanni (Associate, Economics & Country Risk Consulting, IHS Markit)

Kyle Schweitzer (KPMG; Assistant Manager - Management Consulting, Global Business Services)

Light refreshments will be available outside LDN104 from 5:30pm
