Join us for Debating London, the twice-monthly free public debate series in Vauxhall where we take the edge off talking about the big issues of the day by getting our in-house teams of debaters to do the arguing and give you space to consider new ideas, meet new people, and practice public speaking in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Our in-house debaters - among them corporate leaders, barristers, civil servants, journalists, and entrepreneurs - are united by a single goal: to make the best possible case for either side of the argument. We train them up, then put them to the test in front of a live audience, who decide the outcome in a public vote.
'This House Believes Harry and Meghan are right to take on the media'
If you enjoy our free public debate series, don't miss out on our End of the Decade debate on 4th December, where our most talented debaters compete to convince you of whether Britain has changed for the better in the 2010s.
FREE entry and extra seats available as we will be holding this debate in the Great Hall of Goodenough College with space for over 150.
