On the occasion of the 8th Dominican Week in the UK

The Embassy of the Dominican Republic to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the British Chamber of Commerce in the Dominican Republic, in collaboration with the Dominican Republic Film Commission - DGCINE, have the honour to invite you to the Screening of the Dominican Film: "COCOTE".

Synopsis

COCOTE is a film where Alberto, an evangelical gardener, returns to his hometown to attend his father’s funeral, killed by an influential man. To mourn the deceased, he is forced to participate in religious celebrations that are contrary to his will and beliefs.

Pre-drinks Reception: Dominican rum, wine, and nibbles will be offered from 6 p.m. to 7 pm. Screening: from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.  Popcorn and water will be served during the movie.
