Debut solo show from Zoe Anker at BSMT Space
The Summer electric! Bask in the glow of this bright and geometric floral explosion by abstract artist Zoe Anker as she evokes the shapes and feel of this magnificent season. Zoe has managed to distill the essence and memories of summer through her deconstructed palms and botanicals which have been heavily layered in a fusion of neon yellow, pink and orange, in what has become Zoe’s unmistakable visual language.
Winner of our REFRESH competition, ‘Electric Bloom’ will be Zoe Anker’s debut solo show and a worthy introduction to the BSMT artist fold. Her works have a magnetic appeal, the sharp and vibrant layers of screen print are often off-set by a high-spec resin finish. The show will also reveal experimental colour gradients across large and small scale works. Wear your sunscreen, it’s going to get hot in here!‘ELECTRIC BLOOM' opens with a private view on Thursday May 20th from 5pm - 9pm and will run from May 21st to June 6th.
