Environmental, Social, and Governance (βESGβ) is a prominent theme throughout society and is increasingly critical in the construction industry. Despite its popularity, a considerable degree of concern persists regarding forthcoming regulations, market expectations and litigation risks. Nonetheless, we can anticipate that legal developments will play a pivotal role in cultivating a more sustainable built environment.
By focusing multidisciplinary academic and legal expertise on ESG, the event aims to foster a deeper understanding of the current debates concerning ESG regulation and disputes in the Built Environment. Relevant issues that will be covered include: greenwashing, human rights governance for companies, climate contracts, professional negligence and nuisance, diversity initiatives, litigation finance and ongoing major ESG cases.
The presentations and panel discussion will be followed by a networking reception.
