Science & Technology

An evening packed full of activities for friendly adults with a common interest in Computing Education and Computer Science

You are invited to join us for our monthly gathering in the wonderful Science Museum. A little like a school trip, this event is primarily a social gathering for a friendly group of Teachers of Computing (5-18 years) as well as non-teachers with an interest in Computer Science organised within a public event. By joining our group, you'll be able to indulge your interests and passion, forge friendships with others, as well as gaining inspiration, ideas & resources for activities to use in your own school or community.

Theme: Hallowe'en

Detailed itinerary TO BE CONFIRMED. [You can view an example from a previous event here]

  • 4.00-6.30pm Pre-event dinner in Kensington (Optional) - More details to follow
  • 7.00-9.30pm Talks, workshops and exhibitions. We will share a detailed itinerary closer to the time.
  • 9.30-9.45pm Gift Shop & departure - the museum is open until 9.45pm. Leave when you've had enough.

Important: This is an 18+ only event, independently organised by Alan O'Donohoe of and friends. Our event is neither organised, nor endorsed by the Science Museum. There is often a lengthy queue outside on Exhibition Road before the doors open at 6.45pm.

Please support the work of the Science Museum: You can make a donation here, at the entrance when you arrive, or purchase items from the gift shops or cafes during the evening to support the work of the Science Museum.
